Binding on dry pavement is normal for part-time 4WD systems. The front and rear axles turn at different speeds when cornering. Only use 4WD on slippery surfaces or switch to 4WD Auto if your vehicle has it.
Part-time 4WD is engaged manually for slippery conditions and should not be used on dry pavement. Full-time 4WD runs constantly with a center differential allowing different front and rear speeds, so it can be used on any surface.
While 4WD works with any tires, all-terrain or mud-terrain tires provide better traction off-road. More importantly, all four tires should be the same size and brand with similar tread depth for proper 4WD operation.
Yes, we install suspension lift kits and leveling kits for trucks and SUVs. We ensure proper alignment, correct driveline angles, and safe operation after installation.
Regular 4WD maintenance prevents expensive failures. Transfer case and differential failures can cost thousands to repair. Regular fluid changes and inspections catch problems early when they are less expensive to fix.
